The predecessor of the Summit is "Chinese Quality Forum", which was originally initiated by CAQ and Chinese Taipei Society for Quality. The first "Chinese Quality Forum" was held in Taipei in 2012, the second was held in Hong Kong in March 2014, and the third was held in Beijing in November 2015.
In 2015, China Association for Quality (CAQ), Chinese Taipei Society for Quality (CSQ), Hong Kong Society for Quality (HKSQ) and Singapore Institute of Quality (SQI) decided to establish World Alliance for Chinese Quality (WACQ). The alliance is committed to building a quality communication platform for Chinese people all over the world, consolidating the global Chinese forces engaged in quality business, building a quality management system with Chinese characteristics, so as to enhance the quality management level and quality image of the Chinese, and promote excellent Chinese quality culture.
Since 2016, WACQ (in preparation) has organized the World Summit on Chinese Quality every year. Its purpose is to establish a quality management framework that conforms to the ethnic Chinese cultural background, thinking concepts, living habits and management attributes through the joint thinking and communication of Chinese quality management experts, scholars and corporate quality managers, and to build and share the best management for outstanding Chinese companies Platform with quality management model.
